Koupání Zobrazit Zavřít
- Ostrov Mauricius je vyhlášen svými nádhernými plážemi vybízejícími k relaxování u vody. Navíc je téměř celý obestoupen korálovou bariérou, a proto je ideálním místem také pro šnorchlování, potápění a objevování podmořského života vůbec. Většina pláží je písčitých, s pozvolným vstupem do vody. Všechny pláže by měly být veřejně přístupné.
Mezi nejkrásnější pláže patří:
- Trou aux Biches – leží na severu ostrova, na jih od letoviska Grand Baie. Jsou zde bílé pláže s trsy korálů kousek od břehu.
- Péreybère – na severu ostrova, vyhlášená a velmi oblíbená pláž u místních obyvatel i turistů
- Cap Malheureux – na samém severu ostrova, velice oblíbená oblast, z níž je velice působivý výhled na maják a přilehlé ostrovy, vhodná i pro potápěče (nacházejí se zde vraky potopených lodí)
- Mont Choisy – nejdelší pláž na severu ostrova, krásná bílá pláž lemovaná palmami, o víkendech zde bývá rušno
- Tamarin – západ ostrova, jedna z mála pláží bez korálových útesů, stala se vyhlášenou surfařskou lokalitou
- Le Morne – nejzápadnější část ostrova, jedno z nejoblíbenějších letovisek ostrova, nabízející výborné podmínky pro koupání, potápění a více klidu než severní letoviska
- Île aux Cerfs – ostrůvek na východ od Mauricia. Na ostrov se dostanete motorovými čluny, v okolí ostrova nejsou korálové útesy. Během odlivu můžete přejít na sousední ostrůvek Île de l´Est nebo se koupat ve vyhřáté laguně.
- Belle Mare – oblast na východě s krásnými plážemi. Nebývá přeplněna návštěvníky, moře je zde klidné a laguny hluboké.
